TSVExcelTSV to Excel Converter
Tab-separated files come out of databases, statistics packages and bioinformatics tools, and Excel's import wizard mangles them about as often as it helps. DataTray reads the tabs, keeps your types, and writes a workbook.

Drop in your files — Workbooks land in DataTray's output folder, dated, never overwriting.
Why convert
Why TSV exists at all
Tabs are used instead of commas precisely because the data contains commas — addresses, descriptions, anything with prose in it. That makes TSV the safer interchange format and also the one Excel is least reliable about opening cleanly.
- Opening a database export that used tabs to avoid comma collisions.
- Converting output from R, SPSS or a statistics package.
- Getting a bioinformatics or genomics table into a workbook.
- Batch-converting a folder of TSV extracts.
