Accessibility & keyboard use

  • Full keyboard navigation. Move between controls with Tab / Shift+Tab and activate buttons and switches with Enter or Space. Focused controls show a clear focus ring.
  • Screen-reader labelling. The sidebar is labelled as the primary navigation and marks the current screen; the main area is labelled by the active screen's heading; each Settings section carries its own label; every switch, select and icon-only button has a spoken name.
  • Live status. The Active list in the Job Queue announces changes politely, job progress bars report their percentage, and the exchange status pill is a live status region with a full spoken description.
  • Dialogs are real dialogs. The cloud-sync warning and the quit confirmation are modal, labelled, and focus their safest option first.
  • Search where it helps. The Settings screen has a search box to jump straight to a preference.
  • Status is never colour alone. Job statuses, the exchange pill, quality-score dimensions and comparison results all carry a text label as well as a colour.
  • The window is resizable and the data grid follows it. DataTray opens at 1200 × 800; make it larger and Data Explorer's grid uses the extra width.
